The new 607-room, 34-story InterContinental New York Times Square has risen at 44th Street and Eighth Avenue, in the heart of midtown Manhattan's Theater District. The InterContinental New York Times Square joins New York City's newest contemporary architectural icons along the dynamic Eighth Avenue corridor. Gensler’s design draws from two distinctly New York neighborhoods. White glass along Eighth Avenue reflects the movement and shimmer of the thoroughfare, while warm-toned granite on the 44th Street façade relates to adjacent residential buildings. Featuring a restaurant and street-level retail, the six-story podium portion of the building is topped by a sculptural glass hotel tower.
The InterContinental New York Times Square is now open for business and accepting reservations.
